This Privacy Policy describes how ColorU ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
ColorU is designed with privacy in mind. The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information to our servers. All color captures, palettes, and collections are stored locally on your device. If you grant camera permission, images are processed entirely on-device and are never sent to our servers.
2. Camera & Photo Library Access
ColorU requests access to your camera and photo library solely to enable color capture and photo analysis features. This data is processed locally on your device. No photos or images are uploaded or shared with any third party.
3. Analytics
We may use Apple's built-in analytics (App Store Connect Analytics) to understand aggregate usage patterns such as active users and crash reports. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual users.
4. Third-Party Services
ColorU does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs or analytics platforms that collect personal data. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
5. Data Storage & Security
All user data — including saved colors, palettes, and collections — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. We do not have access to this data. If you delete the App, all locally stored data is removed.
6. Children's Privacy
ColorU does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require account creation or any form of registration.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data we hold about you. Since we do not collect personal data, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete. For any inquiries, please contact us at me@leonkang.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
